Senior Compliance Officer

1. Scope of working:

Senior Compliance Officer is to strengthen our governance, regulatory compliance, and ethical business practices. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that PH Company operates responsibly, meets all legal and regulatory obligations, and maintains strong compliance standards across our business activities. Candidates with experience in banks or financial institutions are strongly preferred due to the nature of our customer onboarding, financial transactions, and AML/CFT requirements.

2. Duties & responsibilities:

  1. Monitor compliance to ensure alignment with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  2. Oversee AML/CFT, KYC, and customer due diligence processes, including identifying and escalating potential risks.
  3. Verify that sales documentation, customer onboarding procedures, and financial arrangements meet regulatory and internal compliance standards.
  4. Conduct periodic compliance reviews and monitor adherence to company policies.
  5. Support investigations into potential compliance breaches, misconduct, or fraud risks.
  6. Provide compliance training and guidance to sales, finance, and operational teams.
  7. Prepare compliance reports and highlight key risks or gaps to senior management.

3. Qualification & requirement:

• 3–5 years of experience in banking, microfinance, insurance, or other regulated financial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of AML/CFT, KYC, and regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• High integrity, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.

4. Working Days and Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm & 1:00pm to 5:30pm
  • Lunch time: 12:00pm to 1:00pm

5. Work place:

  • Senior Compliance Officer: works under supervision & reports directly to Internal Audit Director.

6. Relationship

  • Senior Compliance Officer: is based at the Head Office, inside Borey Peng Huoth The Grand Star Platinum.
