Peng Huoth Group Donates $150,000 to “3,000 Steps for Kantha Bopha” charity run event

Peng Huoth Group donated $150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand US dollars) to the “3,000 Steps for Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation” The event was organized by Peng Huoth Group in collaboration with the Cambodia Kantha Bopha Foundation on the afternoon of December 20, 2025, at Eco Collection marathon and cycling track in Borey Peng Huoth (Boeng Snor).

During this charitable event, Peng Huoth Group, its employees, residents of Borey Peng Huoth, business partners, and generous donors from various regions contributed a total of 15,511,098 Million Riel and $159,456.06 USD.

The program aims to promote the health sector in Cambodia, particularly the well-being of children nationwide who require essential medical care and treatment. According to reports from Kantha Bopha Hospital. In 2025, approximately 1 million children received emergency care and treatment. Among them, about 1,000 children were refugees from various high-risk areas.

Speaking at the event, Madam Hong Dany, CEO of Borey Peng Huoth has stated that “Beyond our involvement with the hospital on this occasion, the entire Peng Huoth Group and its community have contributed a total of $3 million USD this year. This support is directed toward our brave troops and refugees, providing locations for aid collection, and offering physical and emotional support to honor the heroism of front-line soldiers and alleviate the hardships of tens of thousands of refugee families.”

This marks the 9th year that Peng Huoth Group has made its annual donation and collaborated on various humanitarian programs. These efforts encourage donors nationwide to ensure the sustainability of Kantha Bopha Hospital’s mission in saving approximately 1 million Cambodian children every year.
