QA/QC Supervisor

1. Scope of working:

The QA/QC Supervisor monitors quality standards for both construction site work and inventory materials. This role inspects building materials upon arrival at the stockyard, oversees daily site execution to ensure work matches engineering plans, and coordinates with site teams and suppliers to fix quality issues promptly.

2. Duties & responsibilities:

  1. Inbound Material & Yard Inspection: Inspect all incoming building materials, steel, and equipment at the stockyard to ensure they meet project specifications, drawings, and purchase orders before release.
  2. Site Construction Quality Control: Perform daily inspections across active construction sites to verify that ongoing work complies with approved building methods, technical drawings, and quality plans.
  3. Storage & Material Protection: Oversee warehouse and yard storage rules (such as proper stacking, weatherproofing, and FIFO) to prevent material damage, rust, or waste before site installation.
  4. Testing & Quality Documentation: Coordinate material sampling and testing, verify equipment calibration, and keep accurate records of inspection requests, test results, and material certificates.
  5. Carry out inspection and checking for all quality related procedures in the site and ensures activity at the site are as per approved method statement and inspection test plan;
  6. Taking care of QA/QC documents of the entire project including certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations, permanent materials delivered.

3. Qualification & requirement:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of practical experience in QA/QC site inspection, civil engineering supervision, or construction material quality control.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read civil engineering drawings, technical specifications, and Inspection Test Plans (ITP); basic proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
  • Language Skills: Good command of spoken and written Khmer and English.
  • Key Attributes: Highly detail-oriented, firm in enforcing quality rules, good communication skills, proactive, and honest.

4. Working Days and Hours

  • Monday to Saturday: 7:00am to 11:00pm & 1:00pm to 5:00pm
  • Lunch time: 11:00pm to 1:00pm

5. Workplace

  • QA/QC Supervisor:  is based at the sites of borey Peng Huouth Project, either inside and outside the Grand Star Platinum Project (Beoung Snor).

6. Relationship

  • QA/QC Supervisor:  works under supervision & reports directly to QA/QC Director.
