Employee Relations Officer

1. Scope of Working:

ER Officer: is responsible for supporting positive employee relations and maintaining a healthy working environment by handling day-to-day employee concerns, assisting with disciplinary processes, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations. This role works closely with employees and management to promote fair treatment, and effective communication across the organization.

2. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and routine workplace issues.
  • Support the handling of employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and attendance-related matters in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist in resolving minor workplace conflicts and escalate complex issues to management when necessary.
  • Provide guidance to employees and supervisors regarding HR policies, procedures, and workplace practices.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee relations reports and support internal investigations related to employee misconduct, policy violations, or workplace complaints.
  • Assist in monitoring employee relations trends and recommend improvements to enhance workplace culture and employee satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with HR and department management to support a positive, respectful, and productive working environment.

3. Qualification & Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in HR, employee relations, or employee engagement.
  • Good knowledge of labor law, disciplinary procedures, and HR practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, conflict-resolution skills and level of confidentiality and ethical integrity.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders
  • Good in commanding Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Google Form.
  • Proficiency in both Khmer and English

4. Working Days and Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 12:00pm & 1:00pm to 5:30pm
  • Lunch time: 12:00pm to 1:00pm

5. Workplace:

Employee Relations Officer: is based at the Head Office, inside Borey Peng Huoth The Grand Star Platinum.

6. Relationship:

Employee Relations Officer: works under supervision & reports directly to Senior HR Supervisor.
