On the morning of June 20, 2025, Peng Huoth Group, in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment and Kep Village Fishing Community, organized a CSR program to plant 5,000 mangroves under the theme “Roots of Sustainability.”
The event took place at the Kep Village Fishing Community in Kep Sangkat, Kep City, Kep Province. Over 100 participants, including Peng Huoth Group associates, environmental officials, and members of the Kep Village Fishing Community, joined the initiative.
This mangrove planting program is part of Peng Huoth Group’s social work strategic framework: “Education, Environment, Society” The objective of this environmental program is to promote green sustainability, conserve the mangrove ecosystem, and address climate change, especially as the world currently faces rising temperatures. Additionally, the initiative aims to contribute to boosting both the community’s economy and tourism in Kep Province.
