
Peng Huoth Group has donated $50,000 to the launching ceremony of the charity campaign under the theme “Together to Save Children with Cancer,” organized by Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC). The event took place on the afternoon of October 6, 2025, at the PH Grand Hall wedding and convention hall in Borey Peng Huoth (Beung Snor).


he campaign aims to promote and support the healthcare sector, specifically to mobilize $200,000 in charitable funds to sustain AHC’s operations until the end of this year. The campaign commenced on October 6 and will conclude on October 31, 2025.




Speaking at the event, Prof. Dr. Nguon Chanpheaktra, Director of Angkor Hospital for Children, appealed to philanthropists to participate and support the cause through financial donations, publicity, and other charitable activities to ensure the campaign achieves its expected success, which will help save the lives of many children with cancer. According to a statement by H.E. Cheang Ra, Minister of Health, made during the official launch of the “National Cancer Control Plan 2025-2030,” Cambodia sees approximately 20,000 new cancer cases and nearly 14,000 deaths annually. More tragically, this catastrophe also affects children, with about 600 new cases reported each year.

It is worth noting that this is the 5th time the Peng Huoth Group has made an annual donation and collaborated to organize various humanitarian campaigns to the public across the country, ensuring the sustainability of AHC’s mission to save approximately 130,000 cases of Cambodian children each year.
