IT Director

1. Scope of Working:

IT Director will be responsible in overseeing IT operations, network security, IT strategy, and overall IT management to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

2. Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all technology operations (e.g. network security) and evaluate them according to the established goals.
  • Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by upper management.
  • Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine their technological needs.
  • Purchase efficient and cost-effective technological equipment and software.
  • Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems and report to upper management.
  • Coordinate IT managers and supervise computer scientists, technicians and other professionals to provide guidance.
  • Ensure risk management and best practices are in place.
  • Implement new procedures and processes for improvement and efficiency.
  • Plan future program activities, including consultations with project sponsors, analysis of requirements and arranging timeframes.
  • Manage program and project teams to ensure completion on time and within budget.

3. Qualification & Requirement:

  • IT Management and IT Operations skills
  • Experience in Information Technology Software Programming and Network Security
  • Proficiency in IT Strategy development
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or PMP are a plus

4. Working Days and Hours:

  • Monday to Friday : 8:00am to 12:00pm & 1:00pm to 5:30pm
  • Lunch time: 12:00pm to 1:00pm

5. Workplace:

IT Director is based in Head Office of Borey Peng Huoth.

6. Relationship:

IT Director works under & report directly to CEO.
